Alumni
relations are an integral part of the Raystown Field Station.
From volunteering and funding, to program participation and just
spending time out at the station there are a multitude of opportunities
for Juniata Alumni to maintain a relationship with the Field Station. |
| Volunteering |
| The
Friends
of the Raystown Field Station is the official alumni group
for any Juniatian interested in the Field Station. The Friends
support and participate in Alumni Weekends, Maple Sugaring,
Apple Butter Making, and have access to the Field Station Facilities. |
| Funding
and Support |
|
Raystown Field
Station has launched a new endowment campaign. This endowment,
initiated by the Friends Group, will ensure long-term viability
of station programming. Our long-term goal is to reach $25,000
dollars. Please consider a contribution to this important fund.
Visit the Juniata
Gifts at Work Page to find out how you can contribute.
The
Field Station also maintains a Wish
List of items that we are currently in need of. |
| Programs
and Participation Opportunities |
| Programs
that interest Alumni include Maple
Sugaring, Apple Butter Making
and the Annual Alumni Bird Walk.
The Calendar of Events allows you
to plan ahead and keep those critical weekends free from conflict.
Still can't make one of the scheduled programs but want to experience
the Field Station for old times sake or because you missed the
opportunity before? Make
a reservation or contact Chuck Yohn
to schedule your own private weekend for yourself or your family
out at Raystown Lake! |
